Anamaria Marina is an Romanian actress. Her debut was on the large screen on Sex Traffic by Channel 4 in which she won the British Academy Television Award was given for the Best Actress. French, German English and Romanian are the most spoken languages. The father of her mother was an actor as well as her mother was a violinist. In the Mangalia Gala of Young Actors, she won the Best Female Actor Award 2000. In 2008 The European Film Promotion Board recognized her as an European Shooting Star. In 2007, her role as a character in Cristian Mungiu's Romanian art film 4 months 3 weeks and 2 days (4 months, 3 weeks and 2 days) was awarded three weeks and a day. Palme d'Or Award at the Cannes Film Festival 2007 and two more awards. The Cinema Prize for the French National Education System as well as the FIPRESCI Prize. Youth Without Youth by Francis Ford Coppola was a different film in which she appeared. In 2008 she was the character Yasim anwar in BBC Mini-Series The Last Enemy. In the following year, she was a major role in 2014's Fury in which she portrayed Irma who was the German aunt of Emma.
